Berlin

Not exactly sure what I'm looking at... a horse giving birth to a robot.  A horbot!

Words of Wisdom

Vietnamese food for dinner

The street next to my hostel.  Best street name I have ever seen.

Hallway leading up to the museum

This might be some sort of hamster cage for people.

Parallel parking like a boss

Random building on the way

Okay, first the camera adds 20 pounds.  Secondly I was trying to mimic the art in the background.  And third that's the Berlin Wall behind me.

They missed a spot!

The Dude abides

Why do I never wander into the rich areas?

A horse face among men

Definetly feeling safe here.

They deliver now!

Free Rice!  This was in the hostel :)

Checkpoint Charlie

Found this on the bridge.  It's not going anywhere now.

Hostel Review

The Flying Pig Uptown:  The staff are great and breakfast is included.  The wifi worked in my room which was amazing.  The hostel is located right next to Vondel Park and the Van Gogh museum.  Overall this hostel was very relaxed and mostly quiet.

Location:  9
Staff:  8
Room:  8

Overall Rating;  25/30

The Flying Pig Downtown:  This hostel is located in the main part of Amsterdam (tourist area).  The staff are helpful abd the vibe is very much that of a party most of the time.  The showers are great but there was too much noise at night from the parties which made sleeping a challenge.  The Red Light District is within walking distance of this hostel.  The wifi works in the lobby/bar and there is free breakfast.

Location:  7
Staff:  8
Room:  5

Overall Rating:  20/30

Best Activities

1.  Vondel Park
2.  Red Light District
3.  Local Foods (Herring & Apple Pie)

Brussels

Not much to report.  I was only in Belgium for two hours because of some scheduling challenges that happened.

The people here were pretty friendly.  And of course I made time for chocolate.

On the way home

View from the Tate Museum

The Old Dukes Arch (Wellington)

Mummy cat is not amused.

Our new looks for London

I spotted Sarah Jessica Parker at the Camden Market!

Tea time next door to the Ritz, I may have been wearing a monocle.  Don't judge me!

Of course when you have tea you need to have 3 tiers of food.

I needed to man it up after tea.  So it's tequila and worm time!

The return of Debs

Found this in the park

Water rats!

Coconut cake from the Borough Market

The Tower Bridge

The bridge again
